Why we need to test Hemoglobin?
The clinical significance of hemoglobin measurement is the same as that of red blood cell count, but in various anemias, due to the different hemoglobin content in red blood cells, the two can be inconsistent. Therefore, the simultaneous determination of red blood cells and hemoglobin is of great significance for the identification of anemia types in clinical practice. Hemoglobin, also known as hemoglobin, is the main component of red blood cells and can combine with oxygen to transport oxygen and carbon dioxide.
The clinical significance of increased and decreased hemoglobin is basically similar to that of red blood cell count, but hemoglobin can better reflect the degree of anemia.
