Product Introduction

HBcAb Rapid Test Self-Test (Colloidal Gold) is a rapid visual immunoassay method used to qualitatively and inferentially detect HBcAb from blood samples. This test is used to help quickly identify hepatitis B virus infections. There are two methods for HBcAb Rapid Test Self-Test: detecting whole blood and serum plasma samples.

Hepatitis B virus core antibody (HBcAb) is the corresponding antibody to the hepatitis B virus core antigen. It is not a protective antibody, but its presence is actually one of the indicators of hepatitis B virus invasion. It includes three types: IgM, IgA, and IgG. IgM is an important indicator to judge acute hepatitis B, and is the first specific antibody in the blood after the body is infected with hepatitis B virus, which generally lasts for 3-6 months. If the HBcAb IgM titer continues to be high, it indicates that the patient has a chronic tendency of hepatitis B. If the HBcAb IgM titer is high in patients with chronic active hepatitis B, it indicates that hepatitis B virus is actively replicating in the body and is one of the indicators of strong infectivity. HBcAb IgG appeared relatively late and is not a protective antibody. Testing HBcAb IgG has epidemiological investigation significance.
