Introduction

Self-check Covid 19 Antigen Rapid Test  detects novel Coronavirus antigens by detecting colour development on the bands. Novel Coronavirus antibodies are fixed in the test area of the membrane respectively. During the test, the extracted samples react with anti-COVID-19 antibodies bound to the colored particles and are pre-coated on the test sample mat. The mixture then passes through the membrane via capillary action and interacts with the reagents on the membrane. If there is sufficient COVID-19 antigen in the specimen, colored bands will form in the appropriate test area of the membrane. The presence of a colored band in the test area indicates a positive for a specific viral antigen, while its absence indicates a negative result. The appearance of colored bands in the control area is a procedural control indicating that the appropriate volume of sample has been added and the membrane core has occurred.Our Covid 19 Antigen Rapid Test Nasal tissue is used for layman self-testing.

SPECIMEN COLLECTION

Specimen Collection For proper test performance, use the swabs  supplied in the kit. Nasopharyngeal swab sample: It is important to obtain as much secretion as  possible. Therefore, to collect a nasopharyngeal  swab sample, carefully insert the sterile swab into  the nostril that presents the most secretion under  visual inspection. Keep the swab near the septum  floor of the nose while gently pushing the swab  into the posterior nasopharynx. Rotate the swab  several times. Oropharyngeal swab sample: It is important to obtain as much secretion as  possible. Therefore, for the oropharyngeal swab,  insert the sterile swab provided in this kit all the  way down the back of the throat and swipe over  the tonsils and other inflamed areas of the throat.  Do not touch your tongue, cheeks or teeth with the swab. It is recommended that specimens be obtained  primarily with a nasopharyngeal swab for more  accurate results.
