Scanning glucose monitoring (flash glucose monitoring, FGM) monitors the glucose level in the interstitial fluid of the subcutaneous tissue by implanting a sensor probe on the outer side of the upper forearm.
After wearing it, simply place the scanner on top of the sensor and scan to get the glucose value.
